Would You Like Chocolate With That? ~ Chocolate Dip

I am so glad it's Chocolate Friday! I'm all tired out from working so hard on my Procrastination Project and need a little chocolate boost! :)

I hope all of you have had a wonderful week and are able to reward yourself with some chocolate today!

I found this recipe in my nifty little Chocolate Lover's Cookbook. And continuing on with my procrastinator personality, I made the recipe at 11pm, not knowing if it would be good. But the cookbook came through - it was good and a nice little snack for hubby and me. I just had another bite right now - yum! LOL.

Chocolate Dip

2 cups cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup whipped topping
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
Cinnamon for dusting

In bowl, beat cream cheese and whipped topping until smooth. Add chocolate chips and vanilla; mix well. Blend in brown sugar and cinnamon. Garnish with light dusting of cinnamon. Serve with graham crackers at room temperature.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
I took a bite of the dip plain and thought it was OK, but when I tried it with a honey graham cracker - YUM! You could experiment and try a few things with this - what about apple slices?
Try it out and let me know what you think! Now, can you find a chocolate post in your archives or write one? Please do and then come back and link it up here so we can all share the chocolate!! If you need help using Mr. Linky, just ask!
And remember - Cake Week starts Monday! Spread the word! The first cake on Monday is soooo yummy. Hmmm, and it actually has more than one ingredient in common with today's chocolate dip recipe. Get your cake recipes ready to link up next Wednesday.
Have a blessed Friday!
  1. I don't think I've ever heard of chocolate dip. How did I manage that? It looks luscious, and just may give our chocolate mousse recipe some competition! Have a great day :)
