Now I have a couple of questions for you.

First - last year I had Pumpkin Potpourri Week in September. It had recipes, opportunities to link up, and giveaways. It was a big hit! Should I have another Pumpkin Week this Fall with all new stuff or should we try something new? Like a week of Apples? Or something else? I want to know what YOU want! Please comment and let me know (even if you've never commented before - I won't tell anyone!)!!

Second - I would like to know what you're thinking of the blog these days. What things keep bringing you back? What do you skip over? What do you want to see more of? Anything bothering you (you can even leave an anonymous comment to tell me)? Anything that you absolutely love? Please let me know! I blog for me, but I also blog for YOU!

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for reading! Thanks for your support and your comments! I do hope my blog gives you a little break from your stressful day.

Hugs and air kisses to you all! And if that is just too mushy for you, then handshakes and nods of the head to you! :) Oh - and chocolate!! How could I forget the chocolate? Stop by tomorrow for Chocolate Friday with a special guest post! And link up your chocolate posts so we can all share the yumminess! <----Now see, that might be something you comment about - maybe I am too demanding. I didn't even say please! :) <----Or there, too many smiley faces might be a pet peeve of yours.<----Or bad grammar.<----Or too many arrows.

I might be scared to read these comments...

  1. Oh your such a smoozer! LOL I have no idea why I keep coming back. You drive me crazy! I can't think straight when I leave and then have a craving for chocolate. Are you laughing yet?
As far as your pumpkin week thingy, I think you should do something with cranberries so noone will participate and your follower count won't pass mine! LOL Oh how I kid. You're chuckling aren't you? I must need you to call me or something.

Big Nothing is going to stop me from coming back no matter what you do size hugs to you!

    Love you my friend!!

  2. Oh Lisa, please have pumpkin week again - I really really liked it! There is just something about pumpkin...

What keeps me coming back - YOU! In fact, my favorite posts are the ones where you share glimpses of your life. I really like when you write about your family. I also really like when you do themed weeks/series that make me feel all warm and comfy - like the pumpkin week! I think if you focus on the things that make our homes cozy...the things that make life "sweet" then, well, that just makes me happy. :)

  4. Kim's idea on cranberries sounds good. I love cranberries. The only problem is, so do my kids. When I buy cranberry juice I have to drink it quick or it's gone!

I love reading your blog. I don't know that I would change anything. I look forward to the recipes for sure, but I read everything. I feel like I'm getting to know you through your blog. That's a good thing, right? :) And smiley faces don't bother me. I like them. :) See? The arrow thing is new, but looks neat.

Do you do many themes through out the year? Like the fall thing. Even if you don't do giveaways, I like themed weeks. Maybe 'cause I like things to match. I'm really looking forward to what you decide to do for fall.

  5. You are cracking me up! LOLOL...oh, maybe too many lol's in my comments? LOL. Oh my!
Ok, 1. I like the Apples idea, there are lot's of sweet and savory things that can be made with Apples and they are so yummy and "fallish"... 2. I love your blog! I come back because you are so sweet and I feel like I can hear you talking even though I've never heard your voice. I wouldn't change a thing.
AND, last but not lease, I'll totally take the hugs and kisses and chocolate over boring handshakes any day!
    Have a beautiful day Lisa!

  6. Ooh! I missed the Pumpkin Potpourri, but that sounds fantastic! I love all things pumpkin. Do you have a good pumpkin bread recipe? My old neighbor made us the best pumpkin bread for Christmas about 6 years ago and I am still thinking about it and I haven't found anything nearly as good. Of course it probably had about 1 cup of oil in the one loaf of bread but it was sooo good. If you do the Pumpkin Potpourri again I will have to link up because I have some recipes that I just love!

  7. Congratulations to Jill!

I found your blog through Chocolate Friday, but I like reading all of your posts--recipes, family stories, and everything else.

I wasn't here last year for pumpkin week, but it sounds like fun. In fact, pumpkin and apple themes both sound good to me; I like to bake with both of those in the fall. Reminds me of the Fall Baking cookbook--one of those booklets in the checkout aisle. :)

I didn't even try to enter the circus giveaway because we were going to be gone that night but I hope you guys have a fun time!
