I Forgot to Thank My Mom, Part 2

As Mother's Day approaches, I wanted to share a few more thoughts about my own Mother. My Mom passed away a few years ago - you can read Part 1 for background.

I just wanted to share a simple list, without explanations, of things my Mom taught me. Only recently did I realize the full importance of all these things. Mom did her best to establish a foundation, and although I strayed far from some of the items on the list, I eventually came back.

Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6

Thank you, Mom, for encouraging me in:

~ Faith in the Lord
~ Cooking/Baking skills
~ Appreciation of music and singing
~ Love of reading
~ Curiosity & Creativity
~ Importance of Discipline
~ Laughter
~ Playing games together
~ Cleaning/Laundry skills
~ Independence

That is not a complete list, but includes enough for now.

Have you given your mom credit for all the things she taught you?
