Tea for Two-sday ~ Tea & Friendship

Tea and Friendship

Tea and friendship, friendship and tea.
A cup for you and a cup for me.

Let's share a scone, a story and a smile,
Even if it's only for just a little while.

At the end of our time the tea may be low,
But the time we spent will make our friendship grow.

by Lisa W.

Tea and friendship just seem to go together. Wouldn't you agree? Whether it's tea for two or a large tea party, there is great satisfaction in the fellowship involved. The tea can be as simple or as fancy as you want. It doesn't matter as much as the people!

The Lord has blessed us with friends and having tea with them (or any other beverage or meal if you prefer!) is one small way of reaching out and connecting or reconnecting with them. If you're not able to have a cup of tea with a friend today, why not send a virtual cup of tea and let them know that you're thinking about them? You can try the following links (please use at your own discretion):

Thank you for stopping and having a sip of tea with me, friends! If you would like to do a post about tea on your blog and link up to me next Tuesday for "Tea for Two-sday", please let me know and I'll be sure to add a Mr. Linky next week.

  1. You can certainly add my "Garden Party" or "The Soul of a Peony" to your links as I am serving Peony tea!

Hope the water tray is working for you. Did I mention that room temp. water better for digestion.Always lemon water in hot cup of water first thing in a.m. before tea or food.Using fresh lemons washed.

  2. What a sweet poem! I'm meeting friends for tea on Thursday and I'm really looking forward to that.

  3. Lovely poem. I have not enjoyed tea with a friend in ages. Texans usually get together and drink Dr. Pepper.

It brings back fond memories of California!
