Savor 7 {Saturday} ~ 10/27

Welcome to Savor 7 {Saturday} friends ~ a new way to share blessings and encourage each other! *You can either follow my categories or just simply list out 7 blessings from your week - this is not meant to be stressful!* For explanation of the 7 categories, see the original post. Thanks for joining me last week!

Let's look back at our week and "savor" {to have experience of; to taste or smell with pleasure; to delight in} together.

7 blessings. 7 experiences, tastes, smells, delights. 7 ways to share, encourage, inspire. 1 for each day of the week. Join me? Write your own post sharing 7 blessings from your week ~ link it up anytime this weekend. If you don't have a blog, share your blessings in the comments - I'd love to hear them!

Savor 7 {Saturday}

SCRIPTURE:

Psalm 34:3 Oh, magnify the LORD with me, And let us exalt His name together.
STORY TELLER:  If you're a blogger and you would have liked to be at the Allume conference, you can go to Teach Them Diligently and see video of the keynote speeches! Cool! They'll only be available for a limited time, so sign up {free} and take advantage! I have been blessed by some of the speeches and know you will be too!

SOCIAL: I think this is the most social I have been ever! I'm at the Allume social media conference in Pennsylvania and there are about 400 Christian women bloggers here! I have talked to so many ladies that I have known online which is such a blessing. But I have also met a LOT of lovely ladies that I never knew before! So many conversations to enjoy -I'm soaking it in. :)

SILLY: I can't come up with one specific example. There has been so much laughter with so many sweet friends over the last couple of days! What laughs have you had this week? C'mon, I'm sure you must have some good ones!!

SNAPSHOT: Since I was here in Pennsylvania, I HAD to go to Hershey. :) And I took a class and have now been certified in chocolate tasting. Obviously a credential I needed to keep blogging here. :) So, you should probably start sending all your chocolate to me to taste first and let you know whether or not to bother with it or if it has a buttery finish. ;) You're welcome.

SIPS:  Basically I've had nonstop coffee here - mostly Avodah coffee {one of the sponsors for the conference}, but also Starbucks which happens to be conveniently attached to the hotel. What are you sipping this week?

SWEETS: That would be chocolate and plenty of it! Lots of samples at Hershey - yum! :)

I hope you enjoyed my 7 things to savor! Your turn! Write a Savor 7 {Saturday} post listing 7 blessings from the week and come back to link up - or share about your blessings in the comments. Please link to the actual post, not just your blog. And please include a link back to this post so people can find it! You're welcome to use the graphic at the top in your post or sidebar. Visit another linker or 2 to share some encouragement!

  2. Thanks for sharing Lisa. I'm excited to see how Mandy's experience was at the conference. Wish I lived on the East Coast...well, that's debatable. ;)

  3. Great to see you at Allume!! What a wonderful time to bask in Christian community and learn from great speakers and each other.

    Glad you made it home safely! We are weathering out the storm here but it hasn't been too bad this far inland.

    Blessings, Sarah
