Savor 7 {Saturday} ~ 10/6

Welcome to Savor 7 {Saturday} friends ~ a new way to share blessings and encourage each other! *You can either follow my categories or just simply list out 7 blessings from your week - this is not meant to be stressful!* For explanation of the 7 categories, see the original post. Thanks for joining me last week!

Let's look back at our week and "savor" {to have experience of; to taste or smell with pleasure; to delight in} together.

7 blessings. 7 experiences, tastes, smells, delights. 7 ways to share, encourage, inspire. 1 for each day of the week. Join me? Write your own post sharing 7 blessings from your week ~ link it up anytime this weekend. If you don't have a blog, share your blessings in the comments!

Savor 7 {Saturday}

SCRIPTURE:

Proverbs 9:10 "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding."
STORY TELLER: If you enjoy entertaining stories of others' traveling mishaps, then you should check out Jessica's 3-part story over at Muthering Heights! So funny, but so glad she made it home OK!

SOCIAL: I got to hang out with a friend while our sons sold popcorn for Boy Scouts. Always nice to have an excuse to just sit and chat! Were you blessed with some social time this week?

SILLY: Saw this on Facebook - I think I need this welcome mat - LOL! :)

SNAPSHOT: Stocking up - in case of pumpkin emergencies! Easy access to pumpkin is certainly a blessing! :)

SIPS:  Speaking of pumpkin, I pinned a recipe for Pumpkin Spice Latte, but it makes a week's worth of the base so you can have many yummy lattes! I plan on making some today!

SWEETS: More pumpkin - earlier this week I shared Pumpkin Dip! And my friend Kim shared Pumpkin Cream Cheese Scones with Streusel Topping - doesn't that sound wonderful? What's your favorite pumpkin treat?

I hope you enjoyed my 7 things to savor! Your turn! Write a Savor 7 {Saturday} post listing 7 blessings from the week and come back to link up - or share about your blessings in the comments. Please link to the actual post, not just your blog. And please include a link back to this post so people can find it! You're welcome to use the graphic at the top in your post or sidebar. Visit another linker or 2 to share some encouragement!

  2. I always laugh a little when I see people stocking up on pumpkin. We have so much in our freezer then more that randomly grew in our garden (fed pumpkins to our pigs, mature used in garden....yup) plus there is a pumpkin farm 1/2 mile down the road. I have way more than I need. :)

    That pumpkin spice latte looks good. Pinning it myself now. :)
