Savor 7 {Saturday} ~ 11/10

Welcome to Savor 7 {Saturday} friends ~ a new way to share blessings and encourage each other! *You can either follow my categories or just simply list out 7 blessings from your week - this is not meant to be stressful!* For explanation of the 7 categories, see the original post. Thanks for joining me last week!

Let's look back at our week and "savor" {to have experience of; to taste or smell with pleasure; to delight in} together.

7 blessings. 7 experiences, tastes, smells, delights. 7 ways to share, encourage, inspire. 1 for each day of the week. Join me? Write your own post sharing 7 blessings from your week ~ link it up anytime this weekend. If you don't have a blog, share your blessings in the comments - I'd love to hear them!

Savor 7 {Saturday}

SCRIPTURE:

Proverbs 16:3 Commit your works to the Lord, And your thoughts will be established.
STORY TELLER: Lisa at The HomeSpun Life wrote an article called How Bloggers Can Avoid Getting Sued. I do recommend reading it if you're a blogger! Good helpful stuff.

SOCIAL: Not much social life this week due to being sick.

SILLY: My kiddo and I were in Trader Joe's a couple days ago. I handed him something to put in our cart and he put it in somebody else's cart and started to push it away! I stopped him and then apologized to the lady who was just turning back around to get her cart. So he took our item out of her cart and put it in another wrong cart - LOL! Before he could head off with that one, I stopped him again. Finally got him to the right cart!! I told him I was going to shop in a different aisle from him so I wouldn't be embarrassed - ha,ha. :)

SNAPSHOT: I didn't take any pics this week, so here's another shot from our trip to the coast - so pretty!

SIPS: I saw this Healthy Cranberry-Orange Smoothie recipe at Frugal Granola. It sounds delicious!

SWEETS: Since I was sick in bed part of the week, I felt I *deserved* some ice cream. My son happened to pick out peanut butter cup ice cream. Well. I rarely indulge in ice cream anymore, but I needed a few bowls of that stuff to get myself well again, right?! And I am feeling a lot better now, so it's probably all due to that. ;)

I hope you enjoyed my 7 things to savor! Your turn! Write a Savor 7 {Saturday} post listing 7 blessings from the week and come back to link up - or share about your blessings in the comments. Please link to the actual post, not just your blog. And please include a link back to this post so people can find it! You're welcome to use the graphic at the top in your post or sidebar. Visit another linker or 2 to share some encouragement!

  1. Ice cream to get better? Hmm....I need to remember that. And since it's fighting the bad germs it probably doesn't have time stick to our thighs huh? ;-)

    Love you my friend. Glad to hear you're feeling better.
